Limited Farmers Market Access
Traditional farmers markets operate at set times in specific locations, making them inaccessible to many who work during those hours or live in underserved areas.
Lack of Digital Shelf Space
While large corporations dominate traditional and online retail spaces, small-scale ethical producers struggle to gain visibility.
Disconnected Communities
Many consumers want to support local, ethical food producers but don't know how to find them or verify their practices.
Why This Matters
When small-scale, ethical producers struggle to reach consumers, we all lose out:
Environmental Impact: Sustainable farming practices that protect our soil, water, and biodiversity struggle to compete with industrial agriculture.
Economic Impact: Money leaves local communities when we purchase from distant corporations instead of nearby farmers and food artisans.
Access: We believe fresh food from nearby producers should be easy to find in every neighborhood, not only near a weekend market.

Producers list their own items and keep them up to date themselves
CFT never sets, caps or changes a producer's price
Producers within 150 miles, serving customers within 150 miles of them

Published standards every producer is reviewed against before approval
