About
Growing Home is a USDA Certified Organic urban farm training program based in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. Founded in 2002, we use sustainable agriculture as a vehicle for job training and community development.
Our Wood Street Farm spans 2.5 acres and produces over 25,000 pounds of certified organic vegetables annually. We grow year-round using high tunnels and cold frames, providing fresh produce during Chicago's harsh winters.
Every purchase from Growing Home directly supports our paid farm training program, helping residents from Englewood and surrounding communities gain skills and employment in sustainable agriculture.
