About

Green Era Farm is a community food hub and composting facility in Chicago's Pullman neighborhood. We grow vegetables using compost we produce on-site, closing the food loop and building soil health in the community.

Our farm is the growing site for the Green Era Food Hub, which provides fresh produce to Pullman and surrounding neighborhoods. We specialize in greens, roots, and culinary herbs.

As part of a broader circular economy initiative, every vegetable scrap from local restaurants finds its way back to Green Era Farm as compost. Waste becomes wealth, and wealth becomes food.

Beet harvest this week! These beauties were grown in our compost-enriched raised beds. Flavor is unreal.
