About
Bullard BBQ brings authentic Texas-style slow-smoked barbecue to Chicago's South and West sides. Founded by pitmaster Darius Bullard, we smoke our meats low and slow over post oak and hickory wood for 12–16 hours.
Everything at Bullard is made from scratch — our rubs, our sauces, our sides. We source our meats from farms that treat their animals humanely, and our produce from local urban farms whenever possible.
We started as a backyard cookout and grew into a North Lawndale institution. Every rack of ribs, every brisket, is a love letter to our community.
